Jennifer Collins
Jennifer Collins's grandmother kept a cluttered windowsill of pothos and African violets, and it was there, killing more than a few of them before figuring out what they actually needed, that Jennifer's interest in plants took root. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the University of Florida, focusing on plant physiology and propagation. Today she covers houseplant care and growing techniques for both indoor and outdoor plants, writing especially for beginners dealing with watering mistakes, poor lighting, nutrient deficiencies, and pests, with an emphasis on routines that are simple enough to actually follow.
